It was eight years ago, when my girlfriend Naina left me. At that time I was starting my life after completing my graduation. But Naina left me and married a rich NRI, who owned restaurants, petrol pumps and cars in Delhi. I was devastated to know this. I was not able to understand what to do. I got addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. With time, I started a job in Mumbai, but my habits got worse. Going to ladies bars and taking the services of escorts had become a part of my life. My mother had died when I was a child, and I was completely alone after my grandparents. My habits were worsening day by day.
The man asked about the girl
One day, when I was taking the service of escorts, in the morning I saw that the girl was cleaning the room. I asked her, “What are you doing?” She said, “Everything was dirty here, so I thought I would clean it.” I found his behavior strange. She also cooked food for me, and I went to work. But after that day, I kept thinking about her.
Man called girl
The next day I called the agent and asked for the same girl again. When she came, I realized that I just wanted to spend time with her, talk to her. That night we watched a movie and without having physical relations, just supported each other. Gradually, I started getting attracted towards her. I asked for her number and proposed to go out to a movie. After this, we started meeting every Sunday. My time with him began to change my life. My addiction to alcohol and cigarettes reduced. My messy room now looks clean and organized. She started bringing stability in my life.
Conversation started between the two
One day on Marine Drive, she placed her head on my shoulder and said, crying, “I don’t want to live such a life. I want someone to love me with all my heart. Hearing this from her heart, I was shaken to the core. These were the same words. What Naina once told me. Fear and insecurity forced me to stop responding to her calls and messages. But she came to my house and started getting angry at me.
Happy life for both
I told him everything. That day we both shared our fears and feelings. A few days later, they decide to get married and make a fresh start in Pune. Now both are happy together.

This experience taught me that no one’s past matters. What matters most is truth, honesty, and respect for each other in your relationship.
What do we learn from the story
This lesson teaches us that no person’s past makes any difference. Rather, it depends on how good, honest and respectful he is towards others. What has happened in a person’s past is his past, which is gone. People are not always wrong, but sometimes circumstances take them on the wrong path. But with true love and understanding every obstacle can be overcome.
